wecare.gr is a supporter of HOPEgenesis, the Greek, urban non-profit company founded in 2015 with the vision of reversing the climate of low birth rates in Greece.

Its main goal HOPEgenesis is to contribute to the strengthening of births by providing support to women who are already pregnant or wish to give birth and are permanent residents of remote, island and mainland regions of Greece.

According to official data from the Ministry of the Interior, in 2015 the population of Greece showed a decrease of 0,6%, namely 92.984 births and 121.785 deaths, resulting in a population decrease of 28.801 people.

The statistical surveys of the United Nations on the population changes of the countries show that the continuation of this situation will lead to the decline of the population of Greece from 10 million today, to 6 million in 2050.
