Components

L. crispatus protective effect against STDs, BV and VVC, linked to the ability of high production of lactic acid and the bacteriocin crispacin A, which maintain the healthy state of the vagina (the population predominance of L.crispatus in the vagina is considered an indicator of vaginal health, with increased conception rates and improved fertility)
• L. Rhamnosus produces antimicrobial compounds lactocin 160, which have been shown to be effective against bacteria associated with bacterial vaginosis (inhibits the growth of G. vaginalis) and inhibits Candida biofilms.
• L. Reuteri produces biosurfactants that reduce surface tension on mucous membranes and inhibits the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria and Candidaalbicans, produces reterin (a natural antibiotic).
• L.gasseri produces large amounts of lactic acid and antimicrobial peptides. It produces a bacteriocin called gassericin E, which inhibits the growth of bacteria associated with BV, including Prevotellabivia, Gardnerella vaginalis.
• L. acidophilus, the most studied probiotic strain in terms of restoring and maintaining a healthy vaginal balance, produces acidophilin.

Use

Recommended daily dose for women over 12 years of age:
1-2 capsules per day for 5-10 days.

To restore the normal flora when it is disturbed:
1 to 2 capsules daily.
