How does it work:

Ensure maximum intensity and duration in your hair color in 2 steps:

Step 1: Get a perfect white coverage and shine in just 30 minutes thanks to the dye cream with 3 precious oils (argan, avocado, and olive) that work in combination to stabilize the color and repair the hair structure during the process hair dye.

Step 2: Enhance the intensity and shine by applying the after-treatment cream with hyaluronic acid and honey extract that moisturizes the hair, creating a protection film that seals the color in the hair and highlights the shine of dyed hair. Apply again after 15 days.

My Color Elixir paint does not contain the main "unwanted" substances:

PPD (para-phenylenediamine): a basic chromophore group in dye products that is the main allergen in hair dyes.
Ammonia: an alkaline agent used to open the scales of the hairline and to penetrate the dye and has an unpleasant and heavy odor.
Alcohol: can irritate the scalp and dehydrate the hair
Resorcinol, Parabens, Propylene Glycol, SLS, Mineral oil, Silicones, 26 identified perfume allergens: substances that are often blamed for allergies, irritations and other side effects.

Use

Preparation

TIPS

1. For best results ensure that the room temperature during application is not lower than 20◦ C 3. Perform the sensitivity test 48 hours before applying the product to check your individual paint tolerance.

2. For longer duration in the color, do not wash your hair again before 24 hours

The Package includes:

2. Color activating emulsion in a vial with applicator, 75ml

STEP 1
Open the package and put on the gloves you will find inside. Unscrew the vial with the activating emulsion and carefully empty the entire contents of the tube with the cream dye.

STEP 2
Close the lid of the bottle and shake until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Cut off the applicator tip of the color activator bottle and start application IMMEDIATELY.

STEP 3
Apply the mixture to dry hair, starting from the roots to the ends, using the tip of the applicator to separate the strands of hair.

STEP 4
Then apply the dye evenly along the length of the hair, massaging lightly.

STEP 5
For FIRST USE, let the mixture act for 30 minutes.

For REPEATED USE and application only to the root, leave the dye on the root for 20-30 minutes. Apply the remaining mixture to the entire length of the hair for 10 minutes and continue with the remaining steps.

STEP 6
After the waiting time is over, pour some lukewarm water on your hair and massage lightly until it becomes a lather. Rinse with plenty of lukewarm water until the water runs clear.

STEP 7
Then wash with the Color Protection Shampoo with sunflower and honey by APIVITA.

STEP 8
Apply the post-dye hair cream and massage your hair well to allow the ingredients to penetrate the hair and seal in the color. Leave the cream on for 3 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Reapply after 15 days.

To avoid color build-up (light root-darker ends) with re-dyes, leave the dye on the lengths for only 5-10 minutes (re-use process). In monthly use we recommend repeating only on the roots. • If your hair has highlights, you may need more than one application to achieve a uniform color. For better coverage choose one of the basic colors (X.0). If the highlights have been done with decapage, there is a possibility that the reflexes of the selected shade will be altered. In this case, sandre (X.1) and very dark tones should be avoided. • If you have a perm or straightener, wait 15 days before dyeing your hair.

• The final color result you want for your hair is the combination of the base of the hair, whether it has a natural color or is dyed, and the dye shade you choose. • If you use half a spray tube, save the rest for later use. The paint should be applied immediately after mixing with the activating emulsion. The mixed paint cannot be stored and reused. It is important to maintain the correct mixing ratio (1: 1,5) because if this changes, then the color rendering will not be correct and the white coverage will be insufficient. • If you have dyed your hair with henna or semi-permanent dye, wait for the dye to go away completely, in order to achieve a uniform result

IMPORTANT: Hair dyes can cause severe allergic reactions. This product is not intended for use by persons under the age of 16. Black henna temporary tattoos may increase your risk of allergy.

DO NOT DYE YOUR HAIR IF:

• You have a rash on your face or have a sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp. • Have experienced a reaction to a black henna temporary tattoo in the past.

• Have you ever had any reaction after dyeing your hair,

Carry out the sensitivity test (patch test) 48 hours before each application of the product, even if you have previously used a dye of the same or a different brand. The lack of any reaction in the sensitivity test does not guarantee the absence of future sensitivity or allergic reaction.

Guidelines for sensitivity testing:

• The purpose of the sensitivity test is to check your individual tolerance to the product. • Mix approximately 5 g. of natural hair color cream with 7,5 gr. of color activator emulsion in a plastic or glass container. • If irritation, swelling, or itching occurs during the test procedure, rinse immediately with lukewarm water and discontinue application. • If itching, irritation, swelling or rashes appear after applying the paint or in the following days, seek the advice of your doctor immediately.

• Thoroughly clean a small area (1 cm2) of skin behind your ears or on your arm with alcohol. • Leave it for 48 hours. Do not rinse, your skin. If no allergic reaction occurs, you can use the product. • If irritation spreads rapidly & you feel sick or dizzy, difficulty breathing and/or swelling of face & eyes, rinse immediately, stop application and consult your doctor.

The cream paint may contain phenylenediamines (diaminotoluenes). The color activating emulsion contains hydrogen peroxide

Caution:

• Avoid contact with eyes & skin. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. • Always wear the appropriate gloves available throughout preparation, application and final rinsing of the product.

• Do not use the dye to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Failure to follow this instruction may cause blindness. • Rinse your hair thoroughly after each application. Keep it away from children. Do not use in children. Mixing ratio: 1:1.5.

Precautions:

If the product (color activator emulsion or paint mixture) comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before rinsing your eyes thoroughly. If irritation persists, consult your doctor. Do not inhale or swallow the product. Do not apply the dye to hair that has been dyed with henna or metallic colors. Remove all metal objects from your hair before dyeing. Do not use metal utensils/tools during the painting process. Do not perm your hair 15 days before or after dyeing. Prepare & apply the product in a well-ventilated & cool area. Do not exceed the recommended application time of the paint. Store the product in a cool place, away from heat or light sources. Use immediately after mixing. After use, never store leftover product. Use the product only as directed.
