Omega 3 – TG Fish Oil 60 enteric coated caps

Omega-3 in re-esterified form of triglycerides (TG Form). The triglyceride form is the natural form in which fish oil is found in fish. The triglyceride form is safer, more stable and better used by the body compared to the ethyl ester (EU) form of Omega-3, without the side effects of UE Omega-3. It contributes to normal lipid levels and good physiology of the heart, brain and eyes.

What are enteric tablets or capsules?

Intestinal tablets or capsules do not dissolve in the acidic environment of the stomach, but dissolve at the alkaline pH of the small intestine.

Intestinal coatings help protect the components of the supplement from being released into the stomach and keep them away from stomach acids and enzymes.

This allows the supplement to remain intact until it reaches the less acidic small intestine (where most nutrient absorption takes place).

An enteric coating may also be desirable for ingredients which, in some people, cause an unpleasant aftertaste.

The coating, for example, prevents the digestion of fish oil capsules in the stomach, which is known to cause fish reflux.
