Neodermyl® is an active antiaging product that induces the synthesis of specific proteins involved in the maintenance of skin structure, by fibroblasts (collagen type I, collagen type III, tropoelastin and elastin). In aged skin, fibroblasts show low metabolism and lack of energy (reduced mitochondrial activity due to e.g. DNA damage, or reduced transport of nutrients). Neodermyl® stimulates the synthesis of these proteins by providing the cells with an energy molecule, Methyl-Glucoside-6-Phosphate (MG6P).
