KELOGEL base is silicone (dimethicone) which:

• Creates a film on the surface of the skin, which prevents scar tissue from coming into contact with the external environment.
• It is extremely waterproof.
• It is odorless.

It is used to improve the appearance and discomfort caused by keloids, hypertrophic scars, scars with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, scarring, which appear after injuries, surgical incisions, burns or diseases such as acne. The composition of KELOGEL includes:

SILICONE OIL 90%: Special bio-inert and bio-compatible high viscosity silicone oils (Polysiloxane), with a large M.B. which forms a hydrophobic, gas-permeable membrane that acts as an extra layer of skin. Silicone works to reduce scarring by indirectly facilitating the necessary processes between the various cell types that create the balance between scar production and reduction. The effectiveness of silicone oils was established after comprehensive tests on sufferers and with special analysis methods, according to the existing literature.

FILAGRINOL: It is a mixture of herbal ingredients that helps regulate the composition of filaggrin from the skin. Filagrin is important for smooth keratinization and therefore for maintaining hydration, cohesion, skin resilience and barrier function

ROSA MOSCHATA oil: It is rich in linolenic acid (39%) and linoleic acid (41%) (omega-3 and 6) whose levels appear reduced in keloids and have a significant effect on the healing process.

ALLIUM CEPA: Natural source of antioxidants. Based on clinical studies, it significantly improves the color of scars.

VITAMIN E: It is a strong antioxidant as well as an effective moisturizing agent, it improves skin elasticity.

a-BISABOLOL: It is a natural anti-inflammatory, soothes the local feeling of pain.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Wash the problem area.
• Apply to dry skin with gentle movements a thin layer over the problem area, until completely absorbed.
• Repeat twice a day.
• After application, you can use cosmetics.
• The minimum recommended period of use is 8 weeks.
• Prolonged use provides better results.
