Description

The rapid test device for the detection of neon antigen SARS-COV-2 coronavirus, is an immunochromatographic, colloidal gold test intended for the qualitative detection of the Covid-19 antigen in nasopharyngeal sample and saliva samples persons suspected of being infected with Covid-19.

Suitable for the pathological examination of patients with suspected Covid-19 pneumonia.

Get a Nasal Smear
Insert the swab into a nostril up to 2,5cm from the tip of the nostril. Gently rotate the swab to collect cells and mucus. Repeat the same procedure on the other nostril.

Obtaining a Pharyngeal Sample
Insert the sterile swab provided into the back of the pharynx, tonsils and other inflamed areas. Avoid touching the tongue, cheeks and teeth with the swab.
