Strataderm® hydrates and protects your scar from chemical and microbial invasion, allowing the scar tissue to normalize its collagen synthesis cycle, creating a normal, mature scar.
Strataderm® is used to:
- To soften and smooth the scars
- To relieve the itching and discomfort of scars
- To reduce redness and discoloration associated with scars.
Strataderm® was developed for
use on all types of scars, including those caused by: general surgery, injuries, chronic wounds, burns, bites, acne and other skin diseases.
The 2002 International Clinical Guidelines for Scar Management stated that “silicone gel should be used as first-line therapy in the initial management of scars and in the prevention of hypertrophic scars and keloids.”1
