Solgar® Advanced Antioxidant Formula is a highly comprehensive antioxidant formula that includes various vitamins and minerals and helps minimize damage caused by free radicals.

Free radicals are produced by the body when we breathe, are in the process of digesting food, exercising or even sleeping. They occur normally as they are created by emotional stress, ultraviolet light, radiation and environmental pollution. Free radicals damage the body by causing cell damage, reducing the body's defenses against disease and putting the body in a state of "stress". p>

To mitigate the effects of free radicals, it is necessary to balance with antioxidants. The most important antioxidants include: Beta-carotene, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Zinc, Selenium and ingredients found in some plants, such as Turmeric and Ginkgo biloba.

Antioxidants are obtained by eating healthy foods on a balanced diet, but supplementation may be necessary for maximum intake.
