DulcoSoft® powder is a mild laxative designed for the symptomatic treatment of constipation. It has a high water binding capacity and transports water directly to the intestine. There the hard stool softens and increases in volume. This leads to an increase in bowel motility and facilitates the elimination of stool.

Its active substance, macrogol 4000, has a purely natural mode of action, as it is not absorbed by the body and is excreted unchanged. DulcoSoft® powder has a neutral taste, so it can be easily mixed with hot or cold drinks.

How does it work;

DulcoSoft® has a high water binding capacity. It serves as a fluid transporter and slows down the absorption of water leading to an increase in the amount of water. Because it is an osmotic laxative, it softens hard stools and increases their volume, making their passage easier and more comfortable. This leads to an increase in bowel motility and facilitates the elimination of stool. This laxative has a purely natural mechanism of action and is virtually not absorbed by your body.

DulcoSoft® powder should be dissolved in approximately 150ml of a beverage of your choice (hot or cold) and preferably taken as a single dose in the morning, and usually takes 24-72 hours to take effect. It has a neutral taste, so it will not change the taste of your drink.

Dulcosoft has a neutral taste and can be dissolved in water or a drink
of your choice (natural or carbonated mineral water, apple or orange juice, cold tea
or hot water). Dissolve the contents of a sachet immediately before taking it into one
glass with liquid (about 150ml).
Adults and children aged 8 and over:
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
1-2 sachets daily dissolved in liquid (equivalent to 10-20 g macrogol 4000),
preferably taken as a single dose in the morning.
Children under the age of 8 should not use this product as
other products that fit better are available.
Within the recommended dose, the dose can be adjusted to the individual
your needs. It can range from one sachet every other day to two
sachets daily. The correct dose is the lowest dose for production
regular soft stools.
Please note:
Dulcosoft usually takes 24-72 hours to work. Clinical studies show that
when given regularly, the frequency of bowel movements tends to be one bowel movement
the day.
Dulcosoft can be taken for a longer period of time, only children will not
must take Dulcosoft for more than 3 months.
If constipation persists, its cause should be investigated.
If you take more than the recommended dose
Excessive doses of Dulcosoft are likely to cause diarrhoea, abdominal pain,
abdominal distention and vomiting, which resolve when treatment is discontinued or reduced
dose.
Large fluid losses due to diarrhea or vomiting may require its correction
electrolyte imbalance. You should contact your doctor in these
cases.
If you forget to take Dulcosoft
Do not take a double dose of Dulcosoft if you forget to take the previous dose.
