The full range of pen needles are available in different lengths (4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 12mm) and sizes (29G, 30G, 31G, 32G), giving you the freedom to choose the ideal needle for your insulin therapy according to your doctor's advice and your dosing habits.
A smaller outer diameter corresponds to a larger number G. For this reason, PiC released the 31G needle with an outer diameter of just 0,25 mm.Also, thanks to "thin wall" technology with lubricant for less painful injections, Insupen needles have reduced wall thickness, thus a larger inner lumen for easier administration.
- Triple bevel, which facilitates skin penetration and reduces pain
- De-pinning, polishing and degreasing treatment, reducing needle penetration resistance
- The larger inner diameter (thin wall) allows you to speed up the insulin flow thus reducing the duration of the injection
- The tip intended to penetrate the insulin cartridge cap is also treated to have a bent tip, which facilitates the insertion of the needle and reduces the release of debris into the cartridge.
