BacteFlora FEM
The
bacteflora FEM is a suitable combination formula to support and protect the urinary system from infections and recurrences. Contains 10 probiotic strains, 10 billion bacteria per capsule, prebiotic inulin, PACRAN cranberry extract, zinc and 1.000 units of vitamin D3. Urinary tract infections are largely caused by E.coli bacteria that normally reside in the gut.
Factors such as disruption of the gut microbiome, diet, stress or an exogenous infection can allow E.coli to find its way into the urinary tract and cause an infection. Cranberry is known for its protection against urinary tract infections due to its ability to bind pathogenic bacteria and flush them out through urination. PACRAN cranberry extract is clinically studied for its action, being a patented form of cranberry obtained from the whole fruit, i.e. peel, stone and flesh. Probiotics contribute to the balance of the intestinal and vaginal microbiome by acting competitively against pathogenic microorganisms. Zinc and vitamin D3 shield the immune system to prevent relapses.
