Description

The Panax ginseng roots used in this formulation are specially selected for the high concentration of ginsenosides, the most active ingredients of Panax ginseng. NOW Panax Ginseng contains phenolic compounds, saccharides and ginsenosides at a concentration of at least 5%.

Its active ingredients are thoroughly studied, due to some indications that they can contribute:

in memory enhancement,
in the treatment of diabetes mellitus, male impotence, premature ejaculation,
to increase athletic performance and mood,
to reduce hot flashes that occur during menopause,
in the treatment of bronchitis, anemia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromyalgia.

Note: Panax ginseng strengthens the immune system, which may help increase the symptoms of certain autoimmune diseases.

Use

Take 2 capsules once or twice daily as needed.

Warning: If you have multiple sclerosis, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis, do not take Panax ginseng. Panax ginseng contains chemicals, called ginsenosides, which act like estrogen. If you have any condition that may be aggravated by the presence of estrogen, avoid using Panax ginseng. High doses of Panax ginseng have been linked to insomnia and cause arousal in people with schizophrenia. If you are taking estrogen pills, antihypertensives, antidiabetics or drugs that are metabolized by the liver, consult your doctor.
