Beta-alanine is an amino acid used by muscle cells to synthesize carnosine, a dipeptide composed of B-alanine and L-histidine. H B-Alanine is the only beta amino acid found in nature today. It is synthesized exclusively by the liver in the human body and is not absorbed through protein consumption.
The direct intake of carnosine has no effect as its absorption from the gastrointestinal system is negligible. The increase in carnosine levels after B-alanine administration (an increase of more than 80% after several weeks of administration) results in the physiological potential of the dipeptide (B-alanine & L-histidine) to reach its full strength.
Studies have shown that carnosine is partially able to limit the effects of lactic acid on muscles, which helps improve athletic performance. Increasing muscle carnosine levels may therefore improve mixed aerobic and anaerobic exercise.
Carnosine also helps to mobilize enzymes responsible for activating muscle contractions. Research studies indicate that supplemental B-alanine significantly delays muscle fatigue.

Take 3 capsules, two to three times a day with water or your favorite beverage. For best results, leave at least two hours between meals.
