Each chewable, hypoallergenic tablet contains 500mg vitamin C from acerola extract concentrate, 100mg lemon bioflavonoids, 25mg blackcurrant concentrate, 25mg green pepper extract, 5mg rutin. Natural sweetening with fructose.
The fruit of the acerola (Malphighia glabra) is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C. The natives of South America traditionally used acerola to treat colds. Rose hips are another rich source of vitamin C. It also contains carotenoids (beta carotene, lycopene, zeaxanthin, lutein, etc.), bioflavonoids, polyphenols, pectins. The fruit of the species Rosa mosqueta, R. canina, R. rugoza is mainly used.
