5-HTP (short for 5-hydroxytryptophan) is the hydroxylated form of the amino acid tryptophan, which is found in high protein foods such as meat and dairy products. The body produces 5-HTP from tryptophan, which is then converted into the neurotransmitter in the brain serotonin.

Tableting with: Calcium Carbonate, Titrated Griffonia Seed Extract (Griffonia simplicifolia), Anti-Caking Agents (Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid & Magnesium Stearate), Tablet Coating (Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose, Glycerol).

• Dosage: Up to 3 tablets daily, half an hour before meals or half an hour before bed. Start with one tablet and increase if necessary. The product is best taken for periods of up to 3 months. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
• Safekeeping: Store in a cool and dry environment and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
