Orange Essential Oil

100% Sweet Orange Essential Oil extracted from the skin of the fruit Citrus by cold pressing. This method protects the antioxidants and beneficial aspects of the oil from being destroyed by heat.
The resulting essential oil is clear, can vary from yellow to deep orange and has a sweet, fresh citrus scent.
It includes various types of chemical compounds such as monoterpenes, flavonoids, coumarins, peptides, coc fatty acids. Its main ingredient is limonene, which is responsible for its strong antimicrobial properties.

Indicative uses:

•     Its aroma creates a sense of well-being, optimism and excitement and is therefore used in aromatherapy to combat anxiety and nervousness. To diffuse its aroma in the room, add 5 drops of essential oil together with a little water in a ceramic device for burning essential oils.
•     On the skin, orange essential oil imparts radiance. Add a few drops to your night cream and apply as part of your skincare routine. For face stimulation it can be used mixed with rose water (10-15 drops of oil in 50 ml of rose water), while for moisturizing the body it is recommended to mix it with almond oil in a ratio of 30-40 drops of essential oil in 100 ml of oil. Attention should be paid to do not apply the above oil in the morning as there is a risk of phototoxicity.
•     Orange essential oil can be used, like all citrus essential oils, for its antiseptic properties, either by adding 1-2 drops to a wet cleaning cloth, or 10-20 drops to a liter of water for mopping. Finally, the essential oil of orange can be used as a flavor enhancer in drinks and food without exceeding a percentage of 0.10%.
