Essential oils are volatile, that is, they evaporate quickly and reach the various centers of the brain through the sense of smell, thus affecting our psyche and affecting our mood. They can either relax and calm us or stimulate and rejuvenate us.You can choose from the various uses offered by APIVITA Essential Oils in order to enrich and beautify your daily activities.

AROMATHERAPY DEVICE

How to use: Thanks to their beneficial properties, they help you relax after a long day, concentrate when doing work that requires mental clarity, or even stimulate you. They can also be used to ensure a clean and pleasant atmosphere as they neutralize unwanted odors.

Light the tealight and place it on the base of the APIVITA Essential Oils Ceramic Appliance. In a few minutes the essential oils will begin to diffuse into the atmosphere.

Amount of use: 1-8 drops in a little water. It is important to always have some water in the aromatherapy device.

MASSAGE

How to use: Massage is one of the oldest therapeutic methods and is one of the most basic practical applications of aromatherapy. The essential oils, thanks to the massage movements, penetrate the skin, offering stimulation, rejuvenation or relaxation. Add the essential oil or oil blend to the base oil (APIVITA Natural Oil Almond or Massage Blend) and mix well. Enjoy with all your senses a beneficial massage by applying the oil with gentle circular movements on the body.

Amount of use: 30-35 drops in 100 ml oil-base.

BATHING

How to use: One of the simplest and most enjoyable ways to use essential oils is in the bath. Fill the bathtub with warm water. A lukewarm or hot bath can relax the mind and body, while a cool or cold one induces a feeling of invigoration and rejuvenation. Add drops of an essential oil or your favorite blend, then stir the water to dissolve them. For sensitive skin it is better to dilute the essential oils in a base oil, such as almond or jojoba. Stay in the tub for at least ten minutes, relaxing and breathing deeply.

Amount of use: 3-8 drops.

INHALATIONS

How to use: Inhalations are proven beneficial for the ease and release of breathing especially in the winter months. Also, the use of steam with essential oils can be used to cleanse and detoxify the face. Fill a bowl with hot steaming water and add drops of essential oil. Close your eyes and carefully bend over the bowl. Cover your head and the bowl with a towel and inhale for a total of ten minutes.

Amount of use: 2-3 drops per bowl of water.

COMPRESSES

How to use: Fill a bowl with warm water and add drops of essential oil or oil blend. Soak the compress and squeeze out any excess water. Then apply it on the desired area.

Amount of use: 3-5 drops.

SKIN TREATMENT

How to use: Essential oils are very beneficial for facial care because they hydrate, stimulate and rejuvenate. Add essential oils to a natural cleansing, toning, moisturizing, etc. product for glowing skin. Ideally you can add them to the vegetable oils APIVITA Natural Oils.

Amount of use: It depends on the base to be used. Ask your pharmacist or an experienced aromatherapist for advice.

ATTENTION: Essential oils are highly concentrated substances that can become harmful if not used carefully. If in doubt or have further questions, consult your doctor and/or an experienced aromatherapist.

· Avoid eye contact. In this case, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Essential oils should never be used insoluble on the skin. Use everything in dissolved form, mixed with the appropriate base of vegetable oil or in the bath water, for example.

Some oils cause sensitivity or allergic reactions in some people. If you have sensitive skin, always do an allergic reaction test on the inside of your arm, gently rub a small amount of dissolved essential oil on this area and wait 24 hours to see if there is any reaction.

Avoid exposure to the sun or solarium for more than 12 hours after applying all citrus essential oils.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor or an experienced aromatherapist before using any essential oil.

Use very carefully when applying essential oils to babies and children under 12 years. Many oils are unsuitable for babies and children, and those that are not, should be used only in very small quantities and dissolved 2-4 times in addition to the solution for adults.
