Description: Each tablet contains 1.000 mg of Pancreatin, which provides 2.000 usp of Lipase, 25.000 usp of Amylase and 25.000 usp of Protease (trypsin, chymotrypsin). Special coating of the tablet, so that it releases the pancreatic enzymes directly into the small intestine.

PROPERTIES OF PANCREATIN

Pancreatin is an extract of the pancreas that contains pancreatic enzymes. It breaks down proteins, carbohydrates and fats, and is used as a digestive aid in cases of removal of the pancreas or pancreatic insufficiency, cystic fibrosis, gastrectomy and steatorrhea (increased excretion of fat in the feces, due to poor intestinal absorption).
