The tocopherols (tocopherols) are a group of fat-soluble chemical compounds of similar chemical structure (homologous compounds) with strong antioxidant properties. They have multiple physiological effects and the intake by the human body in small quantities through food is essential. Collectively tocopherols are known as Vitamin E and are found in vegetable oils and generally in plant-based foods. Tocopherols are distinguished by the letters of the Greek alphabet in: α, β, γ, δ, ε, ζ and η. The most important of these is α-tocopherol (d-alpha-tocopherol), as it is characterized by better absorption and bioavailability and in this form the majority of clinical studies have been conducted. Vitamin E is one of the most important vitamins as it contributes* to the protection of cells from oxidative stress

Lamberts VIT-E 400iu:
• provides 400iu of natural Vitamin E as it is produced from the seeds of the sunflower (natural vitamin E) in the form of 'd'-alpha tocopherol which is the most closely related to vitamin E obtained from food,
• is in the form of an enteric capsule to achieve the maximum possible absorption from the intestine with the secretion of bile
• like all Lamberts products, it is manufactured in the UK to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.
